As an Account Manager, you will work with North American manufacturing companies to understand their needs, help them maintain their strategy to generate new opportunities, and retain the current customer base. The ideal candidate will ensure current customer satisfaction of their Thomas services. They will listen to identify potential customer needs that will require a change to meet customer goals. The ideal candidate loves to engage a current customer base to ensure the success of their customers. Responsibilities:

  • Sales opportunities focused on closing existing business, ensuring execution of customers needs, contract expectations, and ability to identify upsell initiatives
  • Manage contracts and business relationships in order to meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales quota objectives
  • High volume account management responsibilities will demand the highest level of speed with systems and tools. This AM will manage hundreds of existing advertising clients with the primary goal of exemplary retention levels and a secondary goal of identifying account growth opportunities.
  • While managing a large workload for retention, this Account Manager will be seeking upsell opportunities and, with a team mindset, be able to seamlessly hand off upsell opportunities to Account Executives.
  • Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly and annual target revenue goals
  • Proactive clear and concise communication with clients and accounts to ensure satisfaction with Thomasnet programs on a regular cadence
  • Utilize Salesforce CRM to document and track customer projects, and work with internal and external stakeholders
  • Ensure all advertiser inquiries, requests and concerns are resolved in an urgent, professional and personable manner
  • Provide compelling product demos emphasizing service value and benefits, discussing contract terms, quoting prices, and closing sales
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • 1+ years of experience in a account management role with closing experience (B2B sales experience is preferred)
  • Self-starter mindset with an inquisitive approach
  • Basic project management and time management skills
  • Prior Hubspot and Salesforce expertise preferred
  • Familiarity in programs such as Google Suite, Microsoft Office Suite, Zoom/WebEx/GoToMeeting
  • Understand how technology products and services and solutions can solve business problems
