Client Account Manager

Virtual Peaker is seeking an Account Management that will help solve the climate crisis by supporting our mission of building the utility of the future. The intermittent nature of wind and solar energy makes it much harder for electric utilities to keep the grid in balance. Renewable energy is going to save humanity, and Virtual Peaker is part of the solution. The Account Manager will have a responsibility to achieve revenue targets for existing client contracts.

Role Responsibilities

As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for maintaining and growing revenue with our existing clients. Generally, responsibilities include:

• Eliminate churn and increase total contract value by creating a high-quality experience for the customer
• Achieve quarterly and annual revenue targets through understanding current and future client needs
• Build a portfolio of referenceable clients to drive greater market awareness and prospect referrals
• Deeply understand the Virtual Peaker product and apply that understanding to addressing client problems and long term goals
• Other duties, as assigned, that further aid Virtual Peaker in building the utility of the future

Education & Experience

Candidate will ideally have:

• 2-4 years of experience in client-facing, revenue-generating roles
• A collaborative and growth-oriented mindset that thrives when quickly learning new things
• Strong opinions, held loosely
• A bias towards action in an ambiguous situation
• Strong time-management and work prioritization skills
• Experience working within a web-based CRM ecosystem such as Salesforce, Hubspot, etc.
• Experience with Google Suite, Slack and other online collaboration tool
