Our new colleague will have academic training in family science, with expertise that intersects with one or more of the Department’s programmatic areas of emphasis: couple and family therapy, family finance, consumer economics, human development and/or family and relationship processes. General expectations include supporting the instructional needs of both departmental undergraduate majors in Family Sciences and Family Financial Counseling as well as participation in departmental and collegiate governance.

This 9-month lecturer position in the lecturer title series is without tenure eligibility. The successful candidate will typically teach seven courses per year, with an anticipated distribution of effort of approximately 90% instruction and 10% service, which is reviewed annually. The appointment is subject to formal approval by the university administration and the Board of Trustees.
