Software Developer

Our Dispatch Team is looking for a Software Developer to join the U-Haul family. This person must be ready to immerse themselves in the world of customer service. The applications managed by this team are high performance, in high demand and are used by locations across U.S and Canada. This is a position for people who want to develop cutting-edge systems that combine the cloud, AI and web technologies to provide customers with a first-class experience. Developers on this team must strive to provide a simple, easy to understand process that allows any customer to rent our equipment at any time. This system includes both internal-facing web experiences and the data that manages them. The person in this position must:

• Have a strong background with these technologies:
  • C#
  • .NET Framework 4.7.2
  • .NET Core
  • MVC
  • SQL
  • JavaScript
• Preferably possess knowledge of these technologies:
  • Kafka
  • Redis
• Possess strong communication skills
• Understand Agile and Scrum methodologies
• Communicate complex technical problems in a manner non-technical people can understand
• Coordinate with QA, Ops and other Development Teams effectively
• Must be a U.S. citizen or have proof of U.S. employment authorization for this position

Education Requirements:

Bachelors or higher degree in Computer Science, Engineering or Technology. OR 2-3 years of experience in Software Development.
