Summary

Provides support for the TAI metals compliance department.

What You'll Do

  • Prepare and monitor export documentation via IPEM or Export Module

  • Log and maintain hard copy of export documents

  • Audit provider invoices

  • Prepare Canadian Custom invoices

  • Prepare cargo insurance (when applicable)

  • Request export quotes from Freight Forwarders and provide internal freight estimates balancing cost profit requirements

  • Request quotes for export packaging

  • Provide Sales with quotes

  • Prepare export accruals for month end

  • Create and maintain a catalog of logistic providers

  • Reconcile entries for manager to approve refund or payment – Canada only

  • Back up and support compliance team members when needed

  • Maintain backup documents for exports per Government requirements for recordkeeping

  • Input C-TPAT partners

What You Need

  • High School Diploma or GED

  • Significant experience in tasks requiring attention to detail and deadlines

  • Microsoft Office, Excel, Word, PowerPoint experience

  • Exposure to Integration Point Global Trade Management (IPEM)

  • Export documentation experience

  • Understanding of INCO Terms and Transportation documents for imports and exports
