Job Summary:

The Order Specialist is responsible for ensuring the success of our customers and supporting revenue by effectively managing low complexity opportunities submitted by the CS and Sales teams. This role involves managing opportunities and supporting customer communications relating to expansion and license update.

The candidate is expected to be independent, self-motivated, proactive, results-oriented, and able to define and provide a high level of customer experience through the delivery of top-notch customer service.

What does a day in the life as an Order Specialist look like?

  • Create opportunities in Salesforce and review orders for completeness and accuracy
  • Confirming details of orders, including external POs, internal quotes, and previous customer
  • history
  • Accurate and timely execution of the validation process for orders
  • Convert inbound requests to provisioned orders
  • Special projects as assigned
  • Perform key activities such as customer reach out through phone calls and emails
  • Communicate updates internally and externally
  • Advocate for customers and define ways to continually add value to the customer experience

What are the required qualifications for an Order Specialist?

  • Minimum of 2-3 years Order Processing or Customer Service Experience
  • Experience with support tools and phone systems
  • Strong attention to detail / accuracy
  • Proven customer service skills
  • Strong critical thinking skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proven ability to handle multiple projects
  • Ability to work independently and in group settings
  • Ability to train/teach peers
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to successfully communicate and coordinate with departments across the organization including Sales, Consulting, Customer Success, Quality Assurance, Program Management, and Product Management.
  • Ability to understand and escalate issues efficiently and appropriately.
  • Demonstrates strong work ethic and advanced organizational skills.
  • Ability to effectively work with tight schedules and a fast paced environment.
