Salary: Starting at $70,000 annually

Educational Requirements:

  • Master’s degree required in one of the following fields:

    • Counseling

    • Psychology

    • Social Work

    • Marriage and Family Therapy

    • Nursing

  • Preferred: Psychiatric Mental Health Accreditation from the American Nurses Credentialing Center

  • Must be in compliance with all supervision requirements of their respective licensure board

  • Must be actively pursuing independent licensure, if not already obtained


Position Summary:

The Clinic Director serves as the clinical leader for a designated service area and oversees the delivery of behavioral health programs including Mental Health (MH), Substance Abuse (SA), Peer Support, Targeted Case Management, Community Support Associates, and Therapeutic Rehabilitation Services. This role requires a highly motivated, self-directed professional with strong clinical, leadership, and communication skills.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide clinical oversight and leadership for assigned programs and staff

  • Ensure service quality and compliance across all behavioral health services in the clinic

  • Support staff in meeting documentation and clinical care standards

  • Promote collaboration across service lines to meet client needs

  • Manage daily operations and ensure timely completion of administrative and clinical tasks

  • Serve as a resource for clinical decision-making and problem-solving within the team


Required Skills & Competencies:
  • Strong clinical knowledge in both Mental Health and Substance Use Disorders

  • Effective time management and follow-through on responsibilities

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Proficient documentation and electronic health record (EHR) skills

  • Conflict resolution and staff supervision skills

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a leadership team


Preferred Experience:
  • Experience in a supervisory or leadership role in outpatient, inpatient, or residential behavioral health settings

  • Experience working with multidisciplinary teams and various levels of care
