Salary Range - $32,500
Certification/License Requirement: Certification as Peer Support Specialist by state-approved training program.
Educational Requirements: PSS must have a high school education or GED and demonstrate a year period of wellness (defined by lack of symptoms, or behavioral health hospitalization, demonstrated med compliance, and active engagement in the recovery process). PSS must have completed the DBHDID sanctioned 30-hour PSS training. If not trained by Pathways will be re-trained.
Duties/Responsibilities: Provide Peer Support Services by sharing lived experience, advocating for those in recovery, sharing resources and building skills, building community and relationships, leading peer sessions, mentoring and setting goals with those consumers assigned and adhere to all related Policies and Procedures along with regulations; 908 KAR 2:220.
All other duties as assigned.
Experience Required: Experience working with the specific population of which the employee has lived experience (SUD, MH). PSS will display good written and oral communication skills, able to adapt to change, and provide services that are consistent with Kentucky regulations and Pathways Policies.
