$55,000 – $70,000 (Associate Level License: LPA, LPCA, CSW, AMFT)

$65,000 – $75,000 (Independent Level License: LPP, LPCC, LCSW, LMFT)
About the Role
We are hiring a compassionate, organized, and licensed Addiction Counselor to work in our Crisis Residential Recovery Unit (CRRU), Children’s Crisis Unit, and other residential recovery programs. The ideal candidate has experience in addiction services and understands the Twelve Step recovery process. You’ll play a key role in providing direct care, managing treatment documentation, and supervising support staff.
Responsibilities

Provide direct care and therapeutic support to individuals in residential or crisis settings.

Monitor clients for safety during withdrawal and recovery.

Supervise Peer Support Specialists and TCADC staff on-site and off-site.

Answer referral calls and coordinate admissions and discharges.

Facilitate group and individual therapy sessions.

Complete and maintain accurate chart documentation.

Oversee Suicide Prevention Lifeline calls and follow-up as needed.

Supervise temporary CADC personnel and provide proper documentation to licensing boards.
Qualifications

Required Education:
-
Bachelor’s degree with CADC license and approved supervisor status, or
-
Master’s degree with a license in a human service field (LPA, LPCA, CSW, AMFT, LPP, LPCC, LCSW, LMFT)

Required Experience & Skills:

Knowledge of the Twelve Step recovery model

Experience in addiction counseling or residential recovery settings

Strong organizational and documentation skills

Familiarity with CSAT TAP #21 and NIDA’s Principles of Effective Treatment
