Advertisement Wording | The Department of Community Based Services (DCBS) Training at Morehead State University is accepting applications for TWO full-time positions as a Regional Learning Specialist. The anticipated start date is August 1, 2025. Morehead State University is located in Morehead, KY, a designated Kentucky Trail Town, nestled in the Daniel Boone National Forest, in close proximity to Cave Run Lake. This location provides opportunities for a wide range of outdoor recreation activities. RESPONSIBILITIES: The Regional Learning Specialist (RLS) is integral to the onboarding and continuous development of new hires within DCBS. The RLS plays a crucial role in managing the registration process for new employees, ensuring that they are seamlessly integrated into the training system. This involves receiving lists of new hires from the Regional Personnel Liaison from DCBS/CPE and determining their designated paths, such as CPS, APS, SNAP, or Medicaid. The RLS is responsible for inputting this information into the TRIS/COLT system, assigning usernames, and ensuring that new hires are registered in MyPurpose with assigned job-specific trainings. Excellent communication is essential as the RLS sends out welcome and training information emails. REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s Degree. Strong organization and communication skills. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Experience working in DCBS. SPONSORSHIP: This position is not budgeted for Visa Sponsorship.
