Advertisement Wording | The Office of Communications & Marketing at Morehead State University is accepting applications for a full-time position as an Integrated Marketing and Advertising Specialist. The anticipated start date is August 1, 2025. Morehead State University is located in Morehead, KY, a designated Kentucky Trail Town, nestled in the Daniel Boone National Forest, in close proximity to Cave Run Lake. RESPONSIBILITIES: The Integrated Marketing and Advertising Coordinator is responsible for the implementation of the marketing, advertising and promotional efforts on behalf of the University. This role is responsible for the organizing and processing advertising efforts of the Communications & Marketing team. This role serves as a liaison between the MSU community and the MSU Communications & Marketing team. REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree in communications, strategic communications, marketing or related field. Excellent communication, organizational skills and attention to detail. Content writing skills for a variety of media including digital ads, web, print, and other promotional materials. Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365. Experience with ad design and placement for different media. Knowledge of various ad platforms including social media, streaming and connected TV, display ads and traditional print ads. Knowledge of analytics for digital strategy including Google Analytics. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud tools, Canva and other creative tools. Organizational Relationships | The Integrated Marketing and Advertising Specialist reports to the Director of Strategic Communications and works closely with the Communications & Marketing staff. Serves as a Communications and Marketing liaison with Enrollment Services. A high level of contact with individuals internal and external the University is also required. |
Physical Requirements | Must be able to function under high-stress workload demands and follow written and verbal directions. |
Working Conditions | Routine office environment includes contact with visitors, students, faculty and staff and heavy reliance on email and telephone communications. Some evening and weekend hours are periodically required during special events. Some travel may be required. |
