The department of Communication, Media, Art & Design at Morehead State University is accepting applications for a full-time position as an Instructor, Art & Design. The anticipated start date is August 11, 2025.

REQUIREMENTS: Terminal degree (MFA or Ph.D.) from an accredited institution in the individuals discipline as recognized by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools. Exceptions will be non-doctoral degrees considered to be terminal degrees by discipline-specific accrediting bodies recognized by the Commission on Recognition of Postsecondary Accreditation (CORPA).

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Candidates with university-level teaching experience and service preferred. Experience teaching digital drawing and digital painting is desirable.

The instructor will teach in a typical classroom or an internet-based environment. Travel to a regional campus or off-site location may be required. Service on weekends and evenings may be required on occasion.
