Advertisement Wording | Building Services at Morehead State University is accepting applications for a full-time position as a Building Services Manager. The anticipated start date is September 16, 2024. Morehead State University is located in Morehead, KY, a designated Kentucky Trail Town, nestled in the Daniel Boone National Forest, in close proximity to Cave Run Lake. RESPONSIBILITIES: The Building Services Manager directs the institutional custodial program for the entire campus, which is made up of multiple buildings which total over two million square feet of cleanable area. They also provide supervision, management and technical support to the custodial department. REQUIREMENTS: High School Diploma and 5-7 years of management experience. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Associate’s degree preferred. Knowledge of all Microsoft Office software and able to learn and use institutional software systems. Working Conditions | While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to outside weather conditions. The employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, and risk of electrical shock. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. Must be willing to respond to emergencies in off-hours as necessary. |
