The Biology & Chemistry department at Morehead State University is accepting applications for a full-time position as an Assistant Professor, Chemistry. The anticipated start date is August 11, 2025.

RESPONSIBILITIES: Teaching responsibilities will include Physical Chemistry, General Chemistry I and II, Survey of General chemistry courses for agriculture and allied health majors, as well as associated labs for each. The successful candidate is expected to establish an active undergraduate research program and participate in various service activities.

REQUIREMENTS: The applicant must have a Ph.D. in Chemistry (Physical Chemistry preferred). ABD with completion by December 2025 would also be considered.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Teaching experience in a higher education environment.
