We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Alliance Account Manager to join our team and help drive growth through this strategic partnership and customer relationships. Preference will be given to candidates in EST or CST.
Position Overview: As an Alliance Account Manager, you will play a critical role in maintaining and developing relationships with both existing and new customers within our alliance partner ecosystem. This hybrid role involves a mix of partner and customer-facing responsibilities, including relationship management, account integration, briefings, workshops, studies, demonstrations, and proposals. Your goal is to enhance our presence within the Alliance account and their commercial accounts, driving profitable revenue growth for Lexmark. Around 30% travel is required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Profitable Revenue Growth: Drive revenue growth by maintaining and expanding existing business and identifying, qualifying, developing, proposing, and closing new customer opportunities.
- Customer Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships within the Alliance account and their commercial accounts. Develop a deep understanding of the customer environment to close new business effectively.
- Program Development: Develop and execute programs to enhance awareness and sales adoption within the Alliance partner environment.
- Sales Process Management: Manage all phases of the sales cycle, including prospecting, qualifying, proposals, RFQs, and closing.
- Collaboration: Work effectively with both internal and external resources to address challenges and achieve sales objectives.
- Complex Proposals: Plan, organize, develop, and complete complex proposal responses and define pricing elements.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of solution selling/direct sales experience with IT products/software in enterprise-level accounts. Experience in the print industry is a plus.
- Skills:
- Strong prospecting and strategic questioning skills.
- Excellent presentation skills with the ability to deliver clear and concise concept presentations.
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex sales processes.
- Proficient in MS Office platform.
- Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Experience engaging with executive-level contacts and multiple lines of business.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or equivalent experience.
Preferred Skills:
- Familiarity with navigating complex partnership environments.
- Knowledge of Lexmark’s product and service offerings.
