Connected Technology is hiring an experienced Full Stack Developer to work on the Optra IoT platform. Optra is Lexmark's premier IoT Platform that enables OEM's to manage and their fleet and transform their service offerings. The Full Stack Developer will work closely with various teams to define IoT Platform architecture strategy, drive feature development and make informed platform/technology decisions that ensures the solution’s business viability and outcomes are met.

Responsibilities:

Design and develop scalable software solutions for the Optra IoT platform, with the metric being the number of scalable software solutions developed and deployed.

• Expectation is to deliver functional and clean code on the front- and back-end.

• Participate in planning sessions, designing and developing cloud solutions using the PETAL stack, and testing and fixing bugs or coding issues in the software solutions.

Collaborate with various teams to define the IoT Platform architecture strategy, with the metric being the number of architecture strategies defined and implemented.

• Create and include a documented architecture strategy for the IoT platform.

• Attending daily standups, actively participating in development activities, collaborating with various teams to gather requirements and define architecture strategy, and making informed platform and technology decisions to ensure business viability and desired outcomes.

Work with customers on pilot and troubleshooting activities to reduce the number of overall issues.

• Collaborate with customers to understand their requirements and provide support during pilot projects, troubleshooting and resolving any issues during the implementation.

• Providing timely and effective communication to customers regarding pilot projects and troubleshooting activities.

Deliver flexible and maintainable solutions to meet customers' changing business needs, with the metric being the customer satisfaction rating for delivered solutions.

• Continuously assess and understand customers' changing business needs, adapting and modifying software solutions to meet the evolving requirements of the customer.

• Ensure the delivered solutions are flexible and maintainable for future enhancements and updates.

Skills and Abilities:
- Proven experience as a Full Stack Developer
- Experience with building software using the PETAL stack (Phoenix, Elixir, Tailwinds, Alpine, and LiveView)
- Familiarity with Microsoft Azure platform technologies, such as IoT Hub, Event Hub, and Blob Storage
- Ability to effectively collaborate with peers and influence others
- Ability to work independently and multitask effectively
- Experience with web services and open API development
