The Associate VP, Division Finance collects, analyzes, and reports on various market data to connect financial outcomes with operational effectiveness. This leader contributes through a combination of (a) key technical expertise and (b) technical/process leadership that regularly provides functional guidance to professional associates. Regularly applies advanced in-depth and broad knowledge and is the point person for regions in the West Division as well as liaison between West Division, East Division, and Corporate Partners.The Associate VP, West Division Finance works with West Division Regional Teams, Actuarial, MRA, Corporate Finance, Clinical, Marketing and MarketPoint internally and Providers/Hospitals/Ancillary externally to drive optimization. This focus includes both day-to-day operations and strategic planning, addressing specific business performance issues across a matrixed organization and fostering key relationships with business stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
Develops and drives overall enterprise strategy and provides recommendations to senior executives.
Collaborates closely with regional, divisional and corporate teams and leaders. Operationalize strategies, supports annual bid process and provides trend oversite.
Manages and ensures adherence to administrative cost initiatives and budgets; briefs Division Head on budget variances.
Participates in market reviews with the Division Head Makes decisions on highly-complex issues that have significant impact on the enterprise’s financial and business operations.
As an expert in the field, uses professional concepts in developing resolution to critical enterprise-wide issues and broad design matters.

Required Qualifications
In depth knowledge of Medicare Advantage and familiarity with Medicaid Strong communicator with ability to inspire trust, build relationships and cross functional partnerships at all levels as well as lead and drive change through influence
Finance experience at the market level
Progressive technical and leadership experience in a highly matrixed environment Strategic thinker who can anticipate needs of the business and adjustments to industry changes
Ability to operationalize strategies and drive positive business outcomes
Ability to lead and manage high-impact initiatives particularly within the Insurance Segment Committed to continuously improve internal and external customer and consumer experience
Schedule flexibility relative to time zone
Willingness to travel approximately 25%

The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting.
