The Senior Risk Management Professional identifies and analyzes potential sources of loss to minimize risk. The Senior Risk Management Professional work assignments involve moderately complex to complex issues where the analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors.As a Senior Risk Management Professional, you are responsible for managing a portfolio of compliance metrics associated with Medicare and/or Medicaid, ensuring adherence to regulatory standards and best practices.
Your responsibilities include:
- Complete Ownership: Oversee an internal compliance metrics portfolio, focusing on specific operational areas.
- Collaboration: Work across the enterprise to effectively resolve complex compliance challenges.
- Operational Understanding: Ensure a thorough understanding and consensus regarding regulations and their related internal processes.
- Project Management: Utilize project management expertise, demonstrating robust organizational and leadership skills to effectively oversee project execution and delivery.
- Synergy Identification: Identify and leverage synergies to enhance overall effectiveness and efficiency.
- Reporting: Ensure timely and accurate reporting of metrics to support informed decision-making, taking appropriate escalation steps when necessary.
- Risk Mitigation: Engage in other efforts as needed to mitigate risk to Humana’s business.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- 5 or more years of technical experience.
- A passion for contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences.
- Proficient in project management.
- Demonstrates strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently.
- Comfort with facilitating meetings effectively.
Additional Information
To ensure Home or Hybrid Home/Office employees’ ability to work effectively, the self-provided internet service of Home or Hybrid Home/Office employees must meet the following criteria:
- At minimum, a download speed of 25 Mbps and an upload speed of 10 Mbps is required; wireless, wired cable or DSL connection is suggested.
- Satellite, cellular and microwave connection can be used only if approved by leadership.
- Employees who live and work from Home in the state of California, Illinois, Montana, or South Dakota will be provided a bi-weekly payment for their internet expense.
- Humana will provide Home or Hybrid Home/Office employees with telephone equipment appropriate to meet the business requirements for their position/job.
- Work from a dedicated space lacking ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI / HIPAA information.

The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.
