The Market Finance Professional 2 collects, analyzes and reports on various market data to connect financial outcomes with operational effectiveness. The Market Finance Professional 2 work assignments are varied and frequently require interpretation and independent determination of the appropriate courses of action.

The Market Finance Professional 2 works with Actuary, MRA, Corporate Finance, Clinical and Market Point internally and Providers/Hospitals/Ancillary externally to drive optimization inclusive of activities spanning decisions required for day-to-day operations to strategic planning and addressing specific business performance issues across matrixed organization and fostering key relationships with business stakeholders. Understands department, segment, and organizational strategy and operating objectives, including their linkages to related areas. Makes decisions regarding own work methods, occasionally in ambiguous situations, and requires minimal direction and receives guidance where needed. Follows established guidelines/procedures.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting or a related field

  • 3 or more years of experience in finance/accounting

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Word and PowerPoint

  • In-depth experience in Microsoft Excel (formulas, pivot tables, charts, and graphs)

  • Strong analytic skills with attention to details

  • Ability to work independently and collaborate with teammates

  • Comprehensive working knowledge of all Microsoft Office applications

  • Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences

  • Extensive knowledge of SQL

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master of Business Administration (MBA)

  • Knowledge of pivot tables and look-up functions (Excel) and building queries (SQL)

  • Knowledge of data modeling, and data warehousing and ETL processes

  • Experience using Power BI, Toad to analyze and interpret data

Pay Range

The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.


$65,000 - $88,600 per year


This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan. This incentive opportunity is based upon company and/or individual performance.
