The HubSpot People Analytics team helps HubSpot employees (or HubSpotters, for short) thrive so that they can delight customers. We do that by partnering across the People team to drive HubSpot's success through actionable, data-driven insights that enhance decision-making, optimize processes, and advance strategic talent initiatives.
As Sr Manager of People Insights, you will play a critical role in leading and shaping this mission. You will be responsible for guiding the team, driving impactful analyses, and ensuring that our insights directly contribute to a thriving and engaged workforce that fuels HubSpot's growth. Reporting to the Sr Director, People Analytics, the Sr Manager, People insights will lead a team of 7 analysts in partnering across the People Leadership team.
Responsibilities
- Lead Data-Driven Insights: Drive the delivery of actionable insights and recommendations to inform HR and leadership decisions.
- Manage Analytics Infrastructure: Oversee the development, maintenance, and optimization of analytics tools, dashboards, and reporting systems for HR data.
- Foster Cross-Functional Partnerships: Collaborate with People team leaders, and operational teams across HubSpot to provide analytical support and address their data needs.
- Develop and Manage the People Insights Team: Lead, mentor, and develop a team of People Insights analysts, ensuring high-quality deliverables and professional growth.
- Measure and Demonstrate Program Impact: Establish metrics and methodologies to evaluate the effectiveness of HR programs and initiatives, and communicate results clearly.
- Enhance Data Literacy: Promote a data-driven culture across the organization and provide resources to improve data literacy among HR partners.
- Deliver Operational Analytics and Reporting: Oversee regular reporting, dashboards, ad-hoc analysis, and workforce analytics (headcount, turnover, etc.), providing descriptive insights and stakeholder enablement.
- Communicate Insights Effectively: Utilize data visualization and storytelling techniques to communicate complex information clearly and concisely.
Qualifications
- 7-10 years of experience in HR analytics, people insights, or related roles
- 3-5 years of management experience leading teams
- Adaptability and willingness to learn new technologies and methodologies, especially AI related
- Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, R, Python, SQL)
- Experience with HR information systems (Workday) and analytics platforms
- Knowledge of statistical analysis and data visualization techniques
- Knowledge of workforce planning and talent management strategies
- Ability to translate data insights into actionable business recommendations
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Strong leadership and team management abilities
- Problem-solving and critical thinking skills
- Understanding of current HR trends and best practices
- Ability to work with senior leadership and influence decision-making
- Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy
- Ethical handling of sensitive and confidential information
Cash compensation range: 138500-221600 USD Annually

The cash compensation above includes base salary, on-target commission for employees in eligible roles, and annual bonus targets under HubSpot’s bonus plan for eligible roles. In addition to cash compensation, some roles are eligible to participate in HubSpot’s equity plan to receive restricted stock units (RSUs). Some roles may also be eligible for overtime pay. Individual compensation packages are based on a few different factors unique to each candidate, including their skills, experience, qualifications and other job-related reasons.
