Job Description

We are seeking a qualified, motivated individual to join GDIT as a Technology Consulting Senior Advisor. As part of our deployment information technology team, you will function as task order lead and team leader for our DevSecOps and Application Development teams. You will be responsible for managing, automating, and optimizing the execution of enterprise-wide projects across multiple systems and platforms. You will work with program leadership to monitor and maintain the integrated master schedule, manage cloud financial operations (FinOps), track milestones, risks and actions, dependencies, resource utilization, and deliverable timelines while having daily interactions with GDIT technical leadership, Government customers, and other key stakeholders to assess our existing and new systems infrastructure and ensure project alignment with SETRIS and federal reporting standards.

How You’ll Make an Impact:

  • Establish and maintain communication with internal and external stakeholders
  • Work on complex projects and support the full software development lifecycle
  • Assist the lead Project Manager in administrative and personnel matters

Technology Consulting Senior Advisor Duties and Responsibilities

  • Function as task order lead and DevSecOps/Application Development team leader
  • Provide technical, administrative, and operational management of a variety of development efforts and projects ranging from simple to complex
  • Support the development teams by coordinating Scrum team activities, managing cloud financial operations, tracking risks, and actions
  • Ensure alignment with SETRIS and federal reporting standards
  • Generate recommendations in the form of technical briefings, reports, and other major documents provided to senior level client personnel
  • Submit project status and other assigned reports to the PMO and other stakeholders
  • Maintain current knowledge of relevant technologies and subject areas
  • Participate in special projects as required
  • Perform quality control and ensure quality assurance of project deliverables

Technology Consulting Senior Advisor Requirements and Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in related technical or management discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, professional training, or work experience
  • Knowledge of system development methodology and project management
  • Experience with JIRA
  • Experience on teams working complex software development task leveraging agile project management constructs
  • Comprehensive knowledge of corporate Systems/Solutions Architecture processes and trends
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills
  • Experience with software development cycles
  • Secret Clearance to start

  • Experience with Task Order Functions

The likely salary range for this position is $147,050 - $198,950. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
