Job Description:

GDIT is seeking a Strategic Advisor to support the critical mission of the Food and Drug Administration (FDA). This role provides a unique opportunity to support our FDA customers to ensure solid performance in our diversified IT mission portfolio. As the advisor for this business, you will help set up the strategic direction while aligning with the broader account-level strategies to ensure we exceed the needs and expectations of our customers, employees, and mission outcomes.

How You Will Make an Impact:

  • Provide business knowledge and expertise for the FDA portfolio, ensuring alignment with mission needs.
  • Provide guidance for large and complex IT transformation efforts across our FDA mission support
  • Leverage agency-wide experience to provide thought leadership on pursuit of large enterprise deals across the FDA account
  • Ensure alignment with Federal Health Division, HHS Business Area, FDA Account, and corporate strategy and objectives.

What You’ll Need to Succeed (required):

  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology, business, science, or related discipline.
  • 15+ years of experience leading programs or missions of similar or greater size at FDA.
  • Recognized expert and leader in the marketplace with extensive knowledge of the FDA mission.
  • Strong understanding of IT services, Scientific Computing and Bioinformatics.
  • Ability to communicate exceptionally, including customer and internal briefings.

What Would Be Even Better (preferred):

  • 20+ years of experience supporting FDA.
  • Long-standing working relationships with current FDA leaders and decisions makers.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of relevant corporate and government regulations and standards.
  • Experience serving the broader HHS federal market.

The likely salary range for this position is $166,816 - $43,010. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
