As part of GDIT's Growth organization, the CI/PTW group supports capture for the company’s most strategic bids. The Competitive Solution Architect Senior Manager is responsible for leading the analysis and development of competitor solutions ultimately leading to a winning bid price recommendation. The successful candidate will possess a mix of IT technical knowledge, business acumen, and BOE modeling experience.
As a Competitive Solution Architect Senior Manager, you will:
HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:
- Characterize the “trade space” of potential IT solutions and model likely competitor architecture and approaches
- Quantify each competitor’s likely bid solution considering labor profile, hardware and software elements, service delivery approach, and other relevant parameters
- Assess government RFP price evaluation models to determine the key cost and price levers for the evaluated bid price and how those factors will influence the competitive solution
- Interface with internal and external resources including price to win and competitive intelligence analysts, technical solution architects, pricing strategists, cost estimators, and industry workgroups to evaluate solution options
- Brief Senior Leadership and "make the case" for likely competitor solutions
In addition to the above, the successful candidate will have demonstrated experience in the following areas:
- Complex IT infrastructure bids including managed services and “as a service” in commercial and government markets
- Complex software bids including Agile
- Mission services such as cyber, systems engineering, infrastructure, etc.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:
Required:
- Bachelor's degree plus 5+ years related experience in solution development
- In lieu of degree, 9 yrs of related experience is required
- Experience with federal proposals
- Experience with estimation, pricing and PTW
Preferred:
- Ability to obtain a security clearance is preferred
