Job Description:

The IAM (Identity and Access Management) team at GDIT is looking for an individual who has CyberArk installation, implementation, and tool administration experience and has worked as a system administrator (Unix or Windows) with a broad understanding of user and system accounts in various IT systems, enjoys working collaboratively with technical teams in multiple locations, and is passionate about solving problems through automation. GDIT and our client, Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), will leverage CyberArk to control access to privileged and service accounts across multiple platforms and applications.

As a Senior CyberArk Engineer, you are responsible for installation, implementation, Access Management tools support, deployment, maintenance, and accounts loading and administration. You will apply your expertise in the installation and configuration of the CyberArk platform across multiple domains, including conducting routine solution maintenance activities, monitoring the health of the platform, and conducting daily proactive monitoring of the CyberArk production environment; monitoring CyberArk to support any break fixes, upgrades, patches, and performance or integration-related issues; maintain responsibility for scheduling periodic reports and addressing audit findings; supporting critical CyberArk functions, including maintenance, patch identification and publication, and upgrades of CyberArk and related modules; maintaining responsibility for privileged user incident management support, user acceptance testing of privileged accounts, performance testing, and validation testing of the CyberArk solution.

Facility with PVWA, CPM, PSM, PSMP, and Conjur components are necessary.

This position requires interactions with end users, application development teams, Unix and Windows system administrators, network, and other operational teams.

Responsibilities:

  • Install, configure and maintain CyberArk environments.
  • Assist application/business unit teams with privileged accounts on-boarding into CyberArk.
  • Performs application integration assessments and advises on the integration options.
  • Serves as an SME (Subject Matter Expert) for Privileged Identity Management domain.
  • Develops and maintains end-user documentation, and provides relevant training.
  • Participates in project planning and management activities across multiple efforts.
  • Mature automation of processes across the entire CyberArk product suite.
  • CyberArk administration, configuration, implementation, design, and troubleshooting.
  • Maintain CyberArk on a daily basis from a tier 3-4 standpoint.
  • Resolution of tier 2/3 trouble tickets including password rotations, password malfunctions, account creations, account changes, and scheduling.
  • Installation of CyberArk Vault including multiple PVWAs.
  • Collaborate to define access control, user entitlements, and user access policy management.
  • Collaborate to develop and execute overall project plan and timelines for key deliverables.
  • Cross-train and develop peers on CyberArk suite of products.
  • Troubleshooting experience of Vault, PVWA, and Conjur issues.
The likely salary range for this position is $113,050 - $152,950. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
