Job Description:

The Senior CMMI Business Analyst will support GDIT in developing organizational assets to support CMMI requirements and process improvement initiatives (ITSM, Agile, Waterfall, etc.). This position is 100% remote.

HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:
Assist organization and projects prepare for CMMI DEV ML 3, CMMI DEV ML4, and CMMI SVC ML3 appraisals.

Participate as an appraisal team member on CMMI appraisals.

Coordinate and assist projects in the implementation of processes, and work with projects in lifecycle tailoring. Support continued improvement and operation of the organization to transition to the CMMI V3.0 model.

Assist with program management assessments.

● Possess strong written and oral communication skills to support document creation, interactions with program teams / division leadership, and project mentorship.

● Detail-oriented problem-solver who is able to employ leadership, critical thinking, and time management skills.

● Works effectively both independently and in teams.

● Familiar with all phases of project management, software development, understand quality control concepts, and develop creative and innovative ways to improve organizational processes.


WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:
● Education/Required Experience: High School Diploma and 12+ years of experience or Bachelors Degree and 8+ years of CMMI / process improvement experience
● Required Technical Skills: MS Office Suite; understanding of Agile methodologies
● Required Skills and Abilities: Communication, Presentation Skills, Problem Solving, Collaboration, Mentoring/Coaching
● Preferred Skills: Operational knowledge of Jira, Confluence, SAFe, ITIL, ISO
● Location: Remote

The likely salary range for this position is $127,500 - $172,500. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
