East Kentucky Power Cooperative (EKPC) is a not-for-profit cooperative that generates and transmits reliable, affordable energy to over 1.1 million residents and thousands of businesses across 87 counties in Kentucky. With a focus on sustainability, EKPC is expanding its renewable energy portfolio by adding solar farms while continuing to operate traditional coal and natural gas power plants. The cooperative serves 16 owner-member electric cooperatives, ensuring that the energy needs of its members are met efficiently and affordably.
