We are looking for a 2-year fixed-term Training Specialist to join our Melbourne-based Service Delivery Team. You will be responsible for developing, delivering, and evaluating training programs that enable our operators to fully utilize our ticketing technology. Your engaging training sessions will ensure that our transport services run smoothly and efficiently.
Key responsibilities:
- Program Development: Design, develop, and deliver comprehensive training materials, including user manuals, job aids, training guides, and presentations to effectively upskill Transport Operators and internal teams on the operation of transport ticketing devices and related processes.
- Training Calendar: Deliver training with the Training Team, as per the client-agreed annual training calendar.
- Training Delivery and Facilitation: Conduct engaging and informative training sessions for groups of Transport Operators, both in-person and via virtual platforms, ensuring a consistent and standardized training experience.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with subject matter experts and internal stakeholders to accurately represent device functionality and operational workflows in training materials.
- Training Evaluation: Monitor the effectiveness of training programs through assessment tools and feedback, making necessary adjustments to continually improve training outcomes.
- Training Records: Maintain accurate training attendance records, ensuring compliance with company policies.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on the latest developments in transport ticketing technology and processes to continuously enhance training content and delivery methods.
- CBT to ABT Transition: Support training activities during multiple phases of the CBT to ABT transition
Required knowledge:
- Proven experience in developing training documentation.
- Demonstrated experience in delivering engaging training sessions in-person and virtually, adapting to different learning styles.
- Knowledge of relevant regulations and compliance standards related to training and assessment.
- Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and the ability to leverage technology for training content delivery is desirable.
- Understanding of the transport ticketing industry, its processes, and customer service principles, or experience working with the government is desirable.
- Cert IV in Workplace Training & Assessment (desirable) or equivalent experience.
