Job Description: Customer Service Representative

Summary:

In the Customer Service Representative position, you would be responsible for demonstrating outstanding customer service by answering incoming calls and assisting customers in processing orders in a timely and efficient manner. Will also resolve problems and handle inquiries regarding order status in a prompt and courteous manner. Function as a team member within the department and cross-functions as required. Performs any duty assigned to best serve the Company and based out of our Louisa, KY location. You will be an essential part of our team that has been serving customers and delivering fine foods since 1942.

Position would require shared coverage for holidays in which staffing is needed (Memorial Day, Labor Day, 4^th of July, New Years Day)

Responsibilities:

• Promotes new products and programs to customers with use of company marketing materials via phone, electronic transmission (email, internet and/or other proprietary software) and/or traditional mailing.
• Provide customers with information about products and services related to order status, product information, account status, pricing, product or service.
• Continually strive for excellence in serving the customer and assisting the team.
• Work closely with Direct Sales Representatives regarding sales promotions and initiatives which require phone contact and follow-up with customers
• Coordinate mailings of literature and samples
• Investigate and research all customer inquiries and concerns and follow-up promptly with the customer
• Help customers with design ideas/problems; provide customer feedback to management
• Attend training meetings, seminars, monthly sales meetings, and schools as required
• Maintain customer call lists, contact information and delivery windows for assigned account
• Participate in industry trade shows and events as needed.
• Performs other related duties as assigned by management

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
• One year of experience in sales, and/or customer service related position preferred, in the foodservice industry a plus.
