Brightside is hiring a Strategic Finance Analyst to provide immediate impact through financial analytics, forecasting, and reporting. In this role, you will report directly to the Director of Finance while regularly interacting with all departments across the company to drive financial and strategic decision-making.
What you’ll be doing as a Strategic Financial Analyst:
- Conducting cross-functional analysis and synthesizing results to support strategic decision-making across the organization
- Analyzing and evaluating internal financial and operational data to identify areas for improvement or cost-saving; aiding in the implementation of identified opportunities as applicable
- Coordinating the annual financial planning process including building financial plans/templates, aiding in resource allocation discussions, and performance management against goals
- Building and maintaining company financial reports, forecasts, and budgets
- Working alongside accounting, revenue cycle, and payroll departments to prepare and automate reporting
- Generating monthly reporting materials for the leadership team and board of directors
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in consulting, investment banking, or finance-related roles
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
- Demonstrated experience in healthcare and/or direct-to-consumer (DTC) business models, with an understanding of their unique financial and operational dynamics
- Strong analytical skills; proficiency in financial modeling, budgeting, and forecasting (Excel and GSuite)
- Excellent communication skills; able to communicate complex financial information to collaborators across departments
