Overall Purpose:
Manage the logistics and supply chain vendor management process.
Key Roles and Responsibilities:
- Leadership and Strategy:
- Lead processes, strategies, and tools for the assigned business or functional area.
- Implement, improve, and support strategic initiatives.
- Process Design and Implementation:
- Define, design, and implement processes within the organization.
- Facilitate change through consulting and collaboration with vendors.
- Vendor Performance Management:
- Manage vendor performance against established targets.
- Ensure delivery, quality, and other logistics performance objectives are achieved.
- Lead operational performance meetings to discuss performance gaps and establish corrective action plans.
- Subject Matter Expertise:
- Serve as a subject matter expert for supply chain initiatives, product launches, and projects.
- Contract and Policy Management:
- Provide leadership and financial analysis for contract negotiations, policy creation, process improvement, and business continuity plans.
- Project Management:
- Lead multiple logistics projects varying in size and complexity.
- Apply sophisticated financial and operational analysis for decision support.
- Problem Resolution:
- Provide approaches and resolutions to complex problems through in-depth evaluation of variable factors.
- Leadership and Guidance:
- Offer leadership and guidance to others in the organization.
Key Skills
- Analytical skills, ability to acquire large amounts of data from multiple sources and return meaningful and actionable results
- Understand Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
Education and Experience:
- Preferred Education: Bachelor’s degree.
- Experience: Typically 8 to 10 years of relevant experience. Certification may be required.
- Supervisory Role: No supervisory responsibilities mentioned.
Compensation:
- Salary Range: $84,900.00 - $127,300.00 USD annually.
