New Product Introduction (NPI) Sr Program Manager, Deployment Readiness

DESCRIPTION
We are seeking a talented and solutions-oriented Program Manager to join the Technology Deployment Content Capture, Generation, and Deployment (CCGD) organization. In this role, you will be responsible for driving playbook information collection and consolidation for Amazon Robotics technology programs. Your primary focus will be on leading deployment Playbook creation to be used by exe3cution teams to deploy at scale. You will work cross-functionally with diverse teams in Amazon Robotics to effectively capture and translate critical documentation from the lab, Alpha, and Beta deployments into comprehensive playbooks, helping teams execute technologies at scale across our global operations.
Key job responsibilities
1. Develop and maintain comprehensive playbooks for Amazon Robotics technology programs.
2. Contribute to deployment project allocation decisions.
3. Complex stakeholder management: work very closely with various teams, including Product Launch, IT, Sys Integration, Retrofit Readiness, Strategy and Operation, Robotics Deployment Engineering, Deployment Modeling, Operations, and others, from project start to end.
4. Incorporate lessons learned from Alpha, Beta, and GA Deployments to prevent recurring issues.
5. Track product changes and translate updates into actionable learnings.
6. Demonstrate content development effectiveness through increased quality and optimized deployments.
7. Develop process engineering standards for global solution deployments, promoting the highest standards with Lean principles.
8. Assist in systems strategy development, defining metrics and reporting for accurate and timely data collection.
9. Work with leadership and Amazon Finance to understand the value proposition of reducing deployment times and write white papers to justify new strategies.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 5+ years of program or project management experience
- Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership
- Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
- Able to travel throughout North America and Europe up to 30% of the time
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 2+ years of driving process improvements experience
- Master's degree, or MBA in business, operations, human resources, adult education, organizational development, instructional design or related field
