DESCRIPTION

AWS Infrastructure Services owns the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure. In other words, we’re the people who keep the cloud running. We support all AWS data centers and all of the servers, storage, networking, power, and cooling equipment that ensure our customers have continual access to the innovation they rely on. We work on the most challenging problems, with thousands of variables impacting the supply chain — and we’re looking for talented people who want to help.

You’ll join a diverse team of software, hardware, and network engineers, supply chain specialists, security experts, operations managers, and other vital roles. You’ll collaborate with people across AWS to help us deliver the highest standards for safety and security while providing seemingly infinite capacity at the lowest possible cost for our customers. And you’ll experience an inclusive culture that welcomes bold ideas and empowers you to own them to completion.

The Infrastructure Energy Team (IET) secures and delivers the power infrastructure required to enable AWS growth across Asia. The team is seeking a results-orientated individual. In this role you will support the stakeholder, administrative and contractual lifecycle of delivering power to existing and future AWS data centers throughout Asia. This role provides an opportunity for a technically minded individual interested in building a foundation to further develop their skill-set and advance their career within the energy sector. The successful candidate will be the single point of contact for AWS' grid connection applications, offers and agreements, overseeing application preparation and contractual terms management. The successful candidate will possess strong communication skills and an ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams (Energy, Legal, Finance, Supply Strategy, Real Estate, Construction and Operations) on reporting status, issues and key risks across a portfolio of infrastructure power delivery projects. The candidate will standardize processes and develop tools necessary to provide a single source of truth on status, budget, expenditure, capacity, key dates and contractual terms management across the portfolio of infrastructure power delivery projects in Asia. The candidate will support due diligence assessments on power connection costs, timelines and key risks for proposed data center sites across Asia.
