Product Marketing is responsible for developing crisp, highly differentiated, and compelling positioning and messaging for AWS and its services. We are looking for an experienced product marketing leader to join the Amazon OpenSearch Service Product Marketing team in the Analytics services category. In this role, you will have the opportunity to create messaging and content, drive new initiatives working with migrations, partner, and industry teams to deliver on growth targets for the business. Working closely with product management and Go-To-Market teams, you will own the marketing strategy and execute on that strategy to promote Amazon OpenSearch Service, and the AWS analytics business.
This role will sit in Seattle WA, San Francisco, CA or San Jose, CA. Relocation offered from within the US only to these locations.
Key job responsibilities
Test and refine new marketing approaches and channels to reach and engage key audiences.
Craft and develop compelling audience and initiative specific messages and tools (product videos, collateral specific to different audiences or campaigns, demos, presentations, how to guides, etc.)
Develop market and competitive intelligence expertise that can inform messaging.
Build and maintain relationships with product management, GTM, partner, and program teams to drive co-marketing and distill key functionality and benefits into core product marketing messages.
Identify and execute on breakthrough product marketing activities that reach target audiences effectively.
Develop and be accountable for account, industry, and partner marketing campaigns, working with the appropriate teams.
Communicate customer requirements and provide input to product management on product enhancements and future product direction.
Work effectively across AWS with groups including sales, business development, and evangelists to achieve business goals.

AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS) is responsible for driving revenue, adoption, and growth from the largest and fastest growing small- and mid-market accounts to enterprise-level customers including public sector. The AWS Global Support team interacts with leading companies and believes that world-class support is critical to customer success. AWS Support also partners with a global list of customers that are building mission-critical applications on top of AWS services.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 7+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience
- Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements
- Experience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts and pivot tables)
- Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional marketing programs
- Experience leading go-to-market for consumer software or hardware product launches
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience using any of SQL or other analytical tools for conducting data analysis
- Experience with customer segmentation, profiling, and targeting

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $128,600/year in our lowest geographic market up to $212,600/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
